Why We Care

HomePath was created from a deeply personal experience. When my mother suddenly became ill after a car accident, we learned she had developed a severe brain infection. It all happened so fast. For a time, we didn’t know if she would survive. Thankfully, doctors were able to save her, but the aftermath brought complications that changed everything.

Navigating her transition was incredibly overwhelming. She had her own home, decades of belongings, and eight children trying to make decisions together. It was emotional, stressful, and filled with challenges we never expected. Through that experience, I realized how many families go through the same struggle — with little guidance and even less support. That is why I created HomePath: to guide other families and seniors through one of the most challenging transitions of their lives, and to make the process as smooth, compassionate, and stress-free as possible.
